Fees and Session Options
For all prospective clients, the introductory session is $48.00 and lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours. During that session clients are invited to describe their situation and feelings at the pace and in the degree of detail with which they are comfortable. The counselor will then describe Foresight's counseling orientation and what might realistically be expected. A questionnaire will then be used to help both prospective client and counselor determine the suitability of the counseling orientation offered. Referral to another specialist or medical professional is made when it is determined to be in the prospective client's best interest.
Prospective clients who decide to continue counseling may choose either conventional 50-minute or extended 80-minute sessions. Daytime and evening appointments are available Monday through Friday. Charges are set using one of two options. The most popular is a sliding scale based on income, number of supported dependents, and student status. High income clients may also take advantage of two pre-pay options which provide sessions at discounted fees. Payment can be made by check, cash, and major credit cards. Foresight Counseling does not accept insurance, but can assist clients who wish to be reimbursed by their carrier by providing needed documentation. Click on our policy on third party payments for more information on this subject.
